Registration FAQs
Registrations are not open at the moment.
What is the registration deadline?
Are there any registration fees?
Registration for the Miss Coos County Scholarship Program is free. However, the Miss America Organization requires a $49.99 registration fee to participate in the competition. Candidates are also asked to meet a $30 minimum fundraising requirement for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women initiative.
We never want financial circumstances to prevent someone from participating. If these fees may be a barrier, please reach out to a Miss Coos County board member. We are happy to discuss available options and help make participation possible.
What is the time commitment for registrants?
Contestants are expected to attend weekly rehearsals leading up to the competition, as well as orientation and community appearance events throughout the season.
Who should I contact with registration questions?
